Real Life AI Collaborator
I teach you that conversation — so you can build what you need yourself, with AI holding your hand every step of the way.
Decades of real business problem-solving, now applied to a new tool — so instead of a generic, disappointing answer from AI, you get exactly what you needed.
Let's have a conversation"AI doesn't save you time or take away your role. AI improves the quality of your work, life balance and mood. It's a mentor who helps you see through the darkness — a voice of reason, of balance, of fairness. It needs you as much as you need it."
Sound familiar?
They ask a lazy question, get a vague answer, and conclude that AI is overhyped. They never discover what's on the other side of the effort.
"The groundwork, the context, the conversation — that's where 99% of people give up. And that's exactly where I start."
The truth is, AI is like any good working relationship. What you put in determines what you get out. I've been there. I'm still there. Still learning, still discovering. And I've seen what becomes possible when you stop treating AI like a search engine and start treating it like a thinking partner.
What I do
You know the feeling. Ninety unread emails and a knot in your stomach every time you open the inbox. A quote that needs sending and a blank screen staring back. Notes from Tuesday's meeting that everyone nodded along to and nobody's actioned since.
Most people's instinct is to ask AI to just... deal with it. And they get something back. Usually not quite right.
Here's the actual shift: it's not what you ask AI to do. It's how you ask it. The right sequence of questions turns "sort my emails" into something that understands what urgent actually looks like to you. Turns a blank quote into a first draft that sounds like you. Turns messy notes into a clear list of who's doing what.
And here's the part that matters: once you know how to ask that way, it's not just email. It's the same process for whatever's actually sitting on your desk. That's what I teach — not the answer to one problem, but how to get AI to help you solve any of them.
How it works
A straightforward conversation about your business, the problems you're facing, and what you've already tried. No forms, no questionnaires. Just an honest chat.
I show you what AI can actually do for your specific situation — live, in the room, with your real problems. Not a demonstration of someone else's. Yours.
Not a report. Not a plan. Something you can use tomorrow — and the understanding of how to keep going when I'm not in the room.
What I offer
Four stages. No pressure. You move at your own pace — and you only pay for what genuinely helps. Every stage builds on the last.
Stage 1 — Start here
A short online conversation to see if I can actually help you. No pitch, no preparation needed. If I can't help, I'll say so.
Stage 2
A deep dive into your real problems with a live AI demonstration. If you book The Workshop, this £250 comes off the price — you never pay twice for getting started.
Stage 3 — Most popular
£500 balance if preceded by The ConversationA focused half day with you and your team. You leave with something you can use the next morning — and the understanding to keep going.
Stage 4 — Ongoing
For businesses that want someone in their corner as AI keeps moving. Month by month — no contract, no commitment, cancel any time.
Transparency
I don't think you should have to guess what you're getting into. So here's exactly how I work.
Do I need to know anything about AI before we talk?
Absolutely not. I start from wherever you are. Most of my best conversations start with "I've tried it but I just don't get anywhere." That's exactly the right place to begin.
Can The Conversation lead to The Workshop?
Yes — and if it does, the £250 comes off the workshop price. No reason to charge you twice for getting started.
What if I just want the ongoing Partnership without a session first?
I'd suggest starting with The Conversation first. Not because I need the money — because I want to make sure I can actually help you before you commit to anything monthly.
What sectors do you work with?
Any small business where communication, documentation, customer relationships or problem solving take up significant time. If your team spends hours on things that feel repetitive — we should talk.
Are you VAT registered?
Not currently — which means the prices above are the prices you pay. No VAT to add.
Who I am
I'm Roger. Decades spent working across complex organisations, managing global programmes, and solving problems that don't come with a manual. This isn't my main line of work — I do it because people who know me keep asking how I use AI so well.
A while ago I started using AI seriously — not as a novelty, but as a genuine working tool. It changed how I think, how I work, and what I can achieve in a day. I became the person in every room that others come to when they can't get results from it.
That's why I started xplAIn. Because I kept hearing the same thing: "I've tried it but I just don't get anywhere." I'm not claiming anything I can't actually do — I just know exactly why that happens, and exactly how to fix it.
I'm still learning. I'll always be learning. That's kind of the point.
No pitch. No pressure. Just a conversation to see if I can help.
